Ingredients

- 4 large eggs
- 1.5 cups frozen sweetened strawberries, pureed
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened (divided)

- 8 ounces white chocolate squares, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans with butter or shortening.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, strawberry puree, and 8 ounces of softened cream cheese.
- Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed for approximately 2 minutes until the batter is a smooth pink.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow the cake layers to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before proceeding with the frosting.
- Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until just boiling, then pour it over the chopped white chocolate and remaining 4 ounces of cream cheese in a heat-proof bowl.
- Stir the chocolate mixture until smooth and glossy, then set aside to cool completely.
- Gently fold the cooled chocolate mixture into the thawed whipped topping until light and airy.
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread with a layer of frosting, top with the second cake layer, and cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
- Decorate the top of the cake with fresh strawberry slices before serving.
