Description

A classic, no-bake style dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust topped with a velvety, smooth cream cheese layer and crowned with glossy blackberry pie filling and fresh berries. This refreshing treat offers the perfect balance of tart fruit and rich cream, ideal for warm summer afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 21 oz blackberry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the crust. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Bake the crust. Press the mixture firmly into the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
  4. Beat the cream. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and lump-free.
  5. Fold the filling. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and gently fold in the whipped topping until light and airy.
  6. Assemble the layers. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the cooled graham crust.
  7. Add fruit topping. Pour blackberry pie filling over the cream layer, spreading carefully to the edges.
  8. Garnish and chill. Scatter fresh blackberries on top, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • Use a flat-bottomed measuring cup to press the crust for a uniform, professional finish.
  • Wipe your knife with a warm, damp cloth between each slice for clean, beautiful presentation.
  • Let the dessert set overnight in the refrigerator for the best slicing consistency.
